The type of transfer you choose depends on how you’d like to travel.

If you book a private transfer, it'll just be you and those you’re holidaying with who’ll be in the vehicle. You’ll all be taken directly to your holiday accommodation from the airport.

Should you opt for a shuttle bus for your Palma transfers, you’ll share the journey to your hotel or villa with other holidaymakers. There are drop-off points along the way and the driver will have a list of everyone’s accommodation, so there will be a scheduled route to follow.

Also, you might want to consider the pick-up process when you’re choosing between the transfer options. If you book a private vehicle, you’ll be given a scheduled pick-up time, which can be found on your e-ticket.

Shuttle bus passengers may have to wait for up to 45 minutes before setting off from the airport. This is because other passengers will be arriving on different flights.

How much luggage can I bring on my Majorca transfer?

There are two sets of instructions for private transfers, depending on the dates you're travelling to Palma Airport. Look carefully at your e-ticket to ensure you’re following the correct information.

The first set of directions guides you to the airport information desk after you’ve collected your luggage. There, you’ll see one of our reps waiting for you holding a sign featuring the hoppa logo and your name.

The second set of directions recommends that, once you’ve collected your luggage, you should head to the hoppa/Momento desk, located between pillars two and three and opposite Exit B. Your hoppa rep will be waiting for you there.

Whichever instructions you need to follow, show our rep your e-ticket and then they’ll take you to your vehicle.

What if my Palma Airport taxi driver isn't here?

Sometimes our drivers can get stuck in traffic on the way to the airport. If you can’t see them when you get to your designated meeting point, call the number on your e-ticket to get an update. You’ll be asked for your reference number, which is on your ticket, and then you should be told where your driver is.

What if my flight into Majorca is delayed?

We want to help get your holiday started with no hiccups, but we all know that flights can be delayed. If your flight’s delayed or your luggage hasn’t arrived, your driver will wait for 45 minutes. However, we suggest you call the number on your e-ticket just in case. A new driver might be sent to you for delays of over 45 minutes, so it’s useful to keep us posted.

For any delays that go over three hours, you’ll need to rearrange your transfers with us. You can then claim through your travel insurance.

Where will I be picked up for my return flight with private transfers?

Accepted Answer

If you’ve booked a private transfer to take you back for your return flight, your driver will arrive at your holiday accommodation at a set time. This information is included in the ‘Find my pick-up’ section of your e-ticket. We ask you to be ready 15 minutes before your pick-up time.

If you opt into receiving SMS messages from hoppa when you make your booking, we’ll also text you a reminder of the time you’ll be collected. Should something go wrong on the day, call one of the emergency numbers listed on your ticket.

Where will the shuttle bus pick me up for my return flight?

Accepted Answer

For Palma Airport transfers via shuttle bus, your pick-up time will be available 24 hours before your plane departs. We’ll either send you a text message detailing your pick-up time if you’ve opted in to receive SMS messages, or you can check online. Click on the ‘My bookings’ and ‘Get my pick-up time’ links.

If you can’t find your pick-up time the day before you fly, call the number on your ticket.

Get to your pick-up point at least 10 minutes before your departure time as the buses run to a schedule. If your bus is late, call the emergency number on your e-ticket and we’ll find out where your driver is.
